Rory Behrens
Artistic Director – Rory is back for his third season at the playhouse, his second as producing/artistic director. Memorable roles up here include Buddy, in “Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” and Frederick in “Pirates of Penzance.” This season he celebrates 10 years in the profession, which has taken him to all corners of America and the globe. He has worked extensively throughout the Midwest with companies such as Minnesota Opera, Colorado Light Opera, Exultate Chamber Choir, Northern Fort Playhouse, Shawnee Theater, and Theater L’Homme Dieu. A jack-of-all trades, Rory has worked as a performer, Technical Director, educator, designer and director. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a graduate of Northern State University with degrees in music education and theater, and will attend the University of Central Oklahoma in the fall. There he will study vocal performance and choral conducting. Thanks Dad, for everything.
