Join Tommy O as he sings some of his favorites – both old and new – hand-picked from all four of his current shows. This matinee is not just for Red Hat Ladies, but you are guaranteed to see lots of them there! Everyone is welcome for a special afternoon of TOMMY O entertainment at its best. You’ll hear selections from Broadway, Hollywood, Country, you name it! Tommy O will hand-pick his playlist depending on his mood of the day! Bring your Red Hat group, or for everyone else, just show up!

• Workshop A:   1:00 – 1:45 (improv)
• Workshop B:   2:00 – 2:45 (auditioning)
• Workshop C:   3:00 – 3:45 (stage makeup)
• Workshop D:   4:00 – 4:45 (stage lighting)

Fees: $10 per entry (13 & up)

School kids get a taste of the playhouse

One important goal of Tommy O’s Northern Stars Playhouse is to provide educational opportunities to the community. This spring there will be a kid’s show performed at the playhouse for local schools. Rory and his team of writers are busy putting together a fun and exciting show that will be performed in May before the schools close for the summer. Local kids will be bused to the playhouse for the show. Who knows, maybe some of those same kids will be inspired to join in our summer camp, too!

If your child’s school is not scheduled to attend a show, please make sure your child’s teacher knows about it! There is still room!

We are still looking for 6 men to fill roles in Oklahoma and The Music Man. Contact Rory Behrens 651-769-5447 to schedule an audition.

Rehearsals for Oklahoma will rotate throughout late May and early June. Music Man rehearsals will be once or twice a week from May through July.

Tortoise and His Hair

This charming, original children’s play follows a hirsute tortoise on his adventures. Along the way, he discovers that it’s OK to be different! Children will laugh and learn as they relate to this likeable character!

A Little Off the Top

Mix two balding bachelors and two lovely ladies.  Toss in one repossessed toupee… blend well,  and you have a recipe for lots of laughs! Desperate for hair, Steve and Jerry purchase a used toupee and decide to take turns wearing it. Romance is in the air and then things get a bit hairy. You’ll roll in the aisles as everything comes to a rousing finish!
