After taking a “brief” hiatus of four decades away from the theatre, Mark has returned with a vengeance. He has been involved in roughly 70 shows in the last eight years, in every capacity except musical director and choreographer. Mark credits his daughter, Brittany, with rekindling one of his life’s great passions. To be involved from the beginning in the creation of a new theatre company is truly exciting. It is a great honor to be asked to play some small part in this endeavor. Thank you to Tommy O and Rory Behrens for their faith, and their friendship.

Kevin Reams

Kevin is a born explorer. Made in China, with American parts, he has traveled the world as an actor and acting teacher. He spent two years onboard Holland America Cruise Line as an assistant cruise director. While serving as an acting mentor at the International Academy of Film and Television in Cebu, Philippines, Kevin appeared in numerous student films, web series, the TV Show, Everybody Hapi, and the French film, Le Marquee. A graduate of the University of Central Florida’s Theatre Department, he’s worked at, Snow Camp Outdoor Theater, TEXAS: The Musical, and Theatre West Virginia, among others.

Claire Kafka Duda

Claire is a full time undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in the Theatre and Creative Writing programs. Claire was born in Rhinelander and currently resides in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin. Claire’s previous experience with Tommy O’s is in costume design and construction and she is excited to join the playhouse as a resident actor. A few of her favorite theatre roles include Hermia from “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” Teenage Greek Chorus from “How I Learned to Drive” and Milky White from “Into the Woods.” When she’s not studying lines, writing papers, or working in the UWEC Costume Shop, Claire enjoys reading, writing, drinking tea, and spending time with friends and family.

Audrey Smith

Audrey is thrilled to join the Playhouse for the summer! A native of Nashville, TN, she just completed her sophomore year at The University of Memphis as a BFA Musical Theatre major. At the University, she has performed in Medea, The Threepenny Opera, and The Phantom of the Opera. In Memphis, she has interned and performed with the local professional company, Voices of the South. As a performer since the age of 8, she has been involved in over 2 dozen productions in her hometown and she has also done recording work for Disney. Endless love to her friends and family!

Amanda Blair

Amanda is a recent graduate of the University of Northern Colorado where she obtained a BA in Musical Theatre. She’s thrilled and blessed to have such a wonderful opportunity straight out of school! Favorite past credits include: Anything Goes (Purity), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive), Parade (Iola Stover), The Wedding Singer (Julia), The Secret Garden (Rose), and Curtains (Georgia). Amanda has also dabbled in directing, putting on shows such as Guys & Dolls, Aladdin Jr., You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, Cinderella, and Urinetown. She would like to thank Tommy O’s for the opportunity to do what she loves, her family and friends for their endless love and support, and finally you, the audience, for continuing to support live theatre. Chelsea Jenkins

Stage Manager – Chelsea comes to us from Springfield, OH. She recently graduated from Wittenberg University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. Before going to Wittenberg, she earned her Associate of Arts in Technical Theatre from Clark State Community College, also in Springfield, OH. Her past stage management endeavors include The Pirates of Penzance, The Importance of Being Earnest, and Arms and the Man. She is super excited for her first season at Tommy O’s. She would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her!

Drew Arnold

Drew is a recent graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. While at USM, he played such roles as Balladeer (Assassins), Sir Benjamin (The School for Scandal), and Younger Brother (Ragtime). Other favorites include: Mary Sunshine (Chicago), Ernst (Spring Awakening), Frederic (The Pirates of Penzance), and Franz Liebkind (The Producers). Drew is so thrilled to be joining the 2013 Company of Tommy O’s Playhouse.

Technical Director – Originally from Tucson, Arizona, Christopher has worked in theater and performing arts organizations most of his life. He attended college at New Mexico State University earning degrees in philosophy and theater arts. He has worked with the American Southwest Theatre Company, Arizona Theatre Company, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Southern Utah University, Second Studio Productions, co-founded Green Thursday Theatre Project in Tucson, Arizona, was Technical Director for Old Pueblo Playwright’s New Play Festival and has designed lights for theater and live events throughout the southwest. He is also an author with his latest novel published with a grant from the London Arts Council. He wishes to thank his family and friends for all the love and support they have shown him.

Star-Crossed Players Day Camp

Star-Crossed Players Day Camp in July!

Tommy O’s Playhouse will be hosting an 11-day camp at the playhouse for youths, ages 7-17.

Week 1: Campers will engage in games and teambuilding activities that open up the creative mind. Younger campers will be given instruction in the basics of stage performance, auditioning, and backstage duties. Older campers will be charged with the task, assisted by the directors, of conceiving, creating, and writing a one-act children’s play or musical.

Week 2: Beginning with auditions on Monday, campers will have one week to rehearse, prepare and then perform the play written the previous week. Those not cast in a role will get to have jobs behind-the-scenes as assistants to the director, stage manager, board operator, running crew, etc. Show day will consist of a dress rehearsal, a picnic and the performance.

Dates: 15 – 19 (week 1)
22 – 27 (week 2)

Culminating performance will July 27 @ 2pm

Price: $125 per week or $200 for both
